Luke Meets SANTA!!

Friday:
I closed the office early (good call!) due to the snow storm. We were able to squeeze everyone that wanted to come in, in the morning. I left there at 1245 and was home well before the snow started. Rick left for guys weekend in VT just after the smow started falling and I guess the roads were pretty bad. Luke and I had fun home alone together He is doing so well eating solid foods and he LOVES eating with a big boy spoon!
He has been rolling over for a few weeks and still loves his toes

The past few days he has gotten really good at sitting up unsupported! he is pretty proud of himself too!
Saturday:
Luke thought it would be fun to wake up at 545 am play. I was able to get him back to sleep from 7 to 8 (thankfully). We got up and headed out after breakfast. My original plan was to go to the salem mall to meet Kim and Sebastien but when I headed out, the roads were still pretty bad from the 12 inches of snow we got Friday night. So, we headed to the Manchester Mall instead and got some last minute shopping done. NO ONE was at the mall at 9 am.. it was great! When we finally left the mall at about 11, the roads were much better, so we decided to go visit Nana and Papa. I picked up a pizza for lunch (they still had no power) and headed over there. They had gotten a pay as you go cell phone (still had no home phone) so I helped them activate that and we had a nice visit. They were very excited to see Luke and he was happy to see them too (see picture uploaded via cell phone of him holding Nana's face :) ). We left there in the mid afternoon and headed home to wait for Rick to get home from skiing.

Sunday:
At the church near our house, they had a Santa's helper Santa come to visit the kids! So after mass we went downstairs and enjoyed some coffee and donuts and then Luke got to sit on Santa's lap. Overall, he was not too impressed, but at least he didn't scream!! Lots of other kids had their lists for this Santa to pass along to the real Santa. We left church just in time because the roads were already really bad. We ended up getting close to another foot of snow!! We relaxed for most of Sunday and watched the Patriots game. Rick got a coat of paint done in the basement and I made a few batches of baby food for Luke.
Monday:
Rick went skiing again, so Luke and I were able to get the rest of our Christmas stuff done. We met Aunty Drea for lunch and then ice cream (yum!). Then we went to the mall, which was PACKED! Our quick trip took a couple hours. When we got home, he was sleeping so I was able to get most of our wrapping done.
Rick, Duke and Ryan should be home soon from skiing so we are going to get some dinner and Daryl is coming up too. yay! I havent seen Duke since we were in San Diego last January and Daryl... I dont remember when!
