Cookie day!

Saturday:
We (Nana, Papa, Rick, Luke and I) got up and hung around for a bit. Papa and Rick headed down into the basement to do some work and Nana and I started to whip up some chocolate chip cookies. Luke was having fun watching us ... Aunty Dee got there just before 10 and the cookie baking really got underway. Aunty Drea arrived shorty after and took over baby sitting duty for the first shift. Luke was much happier with this tan watching the cooking of cookies that he can't eat:

We all worked hard for most of the day and baked A LOT of cookies. Here is Nana and Aunty Dee talking about what type of cookies to make next.
After the cookie baking ended Rick cooked a lasagna for dinner and Aunty Dee, Nana, Papa, Rick and I enjoyed a nice dinner together.
Sunday:
We got up and went to mass with Papa. Luke was a good boy and had fun looking at all the elderly people. When we got home, he played with his new Curious George for a bit

and then he played nice for the camera and showed off his baby blues.

We went to Nana and Papa's house to get some more supplies. Still TONS of downed power lines and even more trees down. People were out cleaning up and hauling branches. When we got to Nana and Papa's we cleaned out the fridge and freezers (yes plural - sucks - we had to throw away a lot of food). We were able to salvage a bunch of food and we packed up some more supplies - clothes, medicine etc. Papa took his car back to my house and took care of a few things on the way over. When we got back Nana cooked us up a nice dinner. I had put her apron in the wash, so I let her borrow Luke's.

Here she is holding his mesh feeder bag (which he is in love with).
