Landon's 4 month appt, baptism and more!
The boys both dressed up in Red for the Thursday before Valentine's Day. Luke had a Valentine's party at school and got sweet treats that day! Rick took this picture before he took Luke to school for the day - Luke loves his little brother!
I have been giving the boys a bath together most night, but if I don't put landon in with Luke, Luke can get a bubble bath! Which he loves!
Last weekend it was really nice out on Saturday and Rick did not have to work... so we got the boys ready and went for a winter hike on the trails here in town... Here is Landon getting ready to go
Luke is obsessed with phones...so while I was trying to get Landon dressed for the hike, Luke pulled out 2 air conditioner remotes from a box we have yet to unpack and used those as phones :)
Meanwhile Landon is still smiling :)
Papa came with us on the hike, here we are after we all were ready!
Luke walked for a few minuted then rode in the back pack carrier which he likes a lot
Landon was very tired after all the walking and was fast asleep in the 2 minute drive home
He is growing fast and now can hold his own bottle like a big boy!
On saturday night Rae, Lizzie and Rebecca came up and stayed at Nana and Papa's... we went over for a visit and Lizzie gave Landon hugs! It was SO cute!

The next morning was Landon's baptism! He looked so handsome in his outfit!

I have pictures from the ceremony butthey were all rotated when I went to put them in here, and I was feeling too lazy to edit them all.... It was a nice ceremony and the funniest part was Luke running all over the church and Grandpa chasing him through the pews :) Landon loved getting the water poured on his head and he had the biggest smile on his face while the deacon blessed him - so cute. Here! I got your shoes for you!
This picture is from earlier that day when we played out in all the fresh, new snow! We thought it was sticky snow and had planned to make a snowman... but the snow was fluffy... great for skiing, but not so great for snowman making :(

Landon had his 4 month appt on Tuesday. I was at work so Rick had to take him. He now weighs 15# 14.5 oz - which is around the 60% and just over 26 inches which is around the 85%. I went back to look at where Luke was at this age and this is what I wrote:
"Luke just had his 4 month check up. He is growing nicely and continues to be on the larger side. He is 26.75 inches, which is the 90th percentile and he is 15 # 9 oz. which is the 50th percentile."
So - Landon is slightly heavier than Luke was but a little shorter, which we thought he was longer than Luke was... Landon is laughing out loud and very interactive now. He is a lot of fun. He can hold his head up well and kick his legs and wave his arms. He still can't roll over, but he is 99.9% there going back to front... so he will get it soon I am sure!

we got an early Valentine's Day present and found out I was pregnant with Landon!! I took a test just for the fun of it and - I was!

Wow we have had a busy 2010 so far!! Luke made these glasses at school on New Years eve! Landon tried them out on new years day and was not impressed :)
He is a really happy baby and always has tons of smiles for us :)
Luke is doing great eating with forks and spoons. He does still make a mess haha
But thats OK, it is nice not to have to feed him. Bath time is immediatly after dinner however haha... Luke is also a happy guy and is turning into a big helper! Here is a picture of him picking up pieces of dirt and food off the floor to give me to throw in the trash :)
One warm day Rick was nice enough to wash my car. Luke thought this was the bestthing ever and loved helping dadda spray off the car
Luke loves Landon so much. He is right next to him if Landon is on the floor or in his bumboo
One of Luke's favorite things to do is to hold Landon on his lap and give him hugs... looks like Luke is enjoying it much more than Landon haha
Luke really loves gadgets (just like dadda) and is obsessed with our cell phones. One day he got both of ours and was walking around like this:
Landon is just aboutrolling over, he just has to put it together to get 100% over from back to front.
Luke does everything that we do... He has a little boppy pillow (well its actually Landon's for his playgym) but when I nurse Landon he will grab his boppy and a stuffed animal haha.... its too cute :) Looks like he has the football hold down!
As I mentioned before he is all about helping me. He loves to try and feed Landon his bottles... poor Landon, this bottle was empty but he kept trying to get another drop or two out of it!
Here is Landon asleep on the floor after a tough morning of kicking, trying to roll, and probably a poop :)
Landon loves to sit in his Bumboo seat and watch his big brother play. Luke loves it too.
Landon watches in awe of his big brothers dexterity and quick reflexes :)
One of my friends is adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia... as a fundraiser she made shirts! Luke loves his and whenever he wears it, he gets tons of compliments! See her blog: http://bringourangelhome.blogspot.com/
Luke will do pretty much anything that Rick is doing... he loves tools, the tractor and lawn mower, snowblower...you get the point. He seems to share Ricks love for electricity too and recently helped Rick install baby proof outlets in his bedroom. He discovered last week that there was an outlet behind his crib and had unplugged his humidifier so it was time to change out the outlets asthe plastic plugs in regular outlets don't stop luke!

I decided to try giving the boys a bath together to save time in the evenings and to allow Landon to have more frequent baths. It was fun and both boys (mostly Luke) loved it!

We have Landon's 4 month appt this coming week... we went to the doctor last week because he was sick and he weighed 15# 4 ounces. We will see if he gained any weight and how that compared to Luke at 4 months. I think Landon is a little bit bigger.

Rick and I went back to Hawaii a couple of weeks ago on a sales reward cruise for his work. It was VERY hard leaving the boys even though they were in great hands. Luke ended up getting sick while we were gone, but still was a good boy for his grandparents and his baby sitter.
