New house!!

We closed on the new house today! yay! I have to give everyone involved credit, this was not an easy transaction, and they all worked hard to get it done by today... I think both the realtor and the mortgage guy had a few less hairs and a few more grey ones, but they got it done. The closing was even at the time we picked, how rare! Also, when we got to the closing there was an error on the rate and it was lower than we had expected! How often does that happen!?

After the closing, we dropped Luke with Nana and Papa and headed to the new house. Rick worked on the HUGE snow pile in front of the garage and I cleaned the kitchen to get ready to unpack after tomorrow. We made a trip to home depot to get the paint, new kitchen faucet, lights, doorknobs, new bathroom faucets and shower heads, and a TON of wire.

We have a LONG day ahead of us tomorrow, loading and unloading the UHaul... and then unloading the POD, which is in our new driveway.
