Past week

On Monday we went over to see Grandma and had some lunch with her. Luke had a lot of fun playing on the deck and going down the slide. There are 2 stairs out there that he played on going up and down over and over again. Of course because there are only 2 he goes down headfirst and it's pretty funny. When we left there we went grocery shopping and got ready for the week.

On Wednesday when I got out of work, I met Rick and Luke and we headed up to Newburyport. When we got there we loaded Luke into the stroller

We had a picnic on the shore and Luke had a lot of fun. There were boats going by and a family of ducks (both words he knows) so that was fun. After our picnic we walked back to the car and then went downtown to have some ice cream and walk around downtown.

Thursday he was at school all day and had a lot of fun.

Friday - he was at Nana and Papa's in the morning so Rick could go to the doctor because he is sick. When I got there, I got Luke changed and we went swimming. The pool was a little cold but he had fun.

Past few days

Wednesday was Nana's birthday so after work I headed over there. Luke had been there for a couple hours while Rick worked. Auntie Dee came over in time for lunch and we all ate together. Dee made a GREAT cake (german chocolate) and Luke got to eat some. He also had his first taste of ice cream and he LOVED it!!! Friday I had the day off for Scott and Courtney's wedding. In the day we took Luke to get the pictures done. The wedding was in the evening and we had a lot of fun!

We headed home and picked Luke up at Nana's around 11 and went home to bed. We had to rest up for Saturday's wedding! We left for Rhode Island around 2 and met up with Auntie Dee so she didn't have to drive alone. When we got to the wedding we got Luke dressed in his suit:

We got home really late and were up bright and early on Sunday. Luke and I went with Rick on an appointment and then headed to the beach in Gloucester

There were walking paths all along the ocean where we were and a park on the ocean. We stopped for ice cream before we headed home, a great day overall!!

Tired Boy

After we got the pictures taken we had about an hour to kill before they would be ready. So we went to toys r us and got Luke the backpack that he needed for school (it came with a free lunch box that is SUPER cute, I will take a picture later- Luke loves it!!) After toys r us, we dropped Dada off at home depot so he could fax some stuff and Luke and I went to Babies r us to get some baby proofing supplies. Luke fell fast asleep on the ride there and managed to stay asleep when I put him in the cart. I didn't have many clothes in the diaper bag so I had to pad his head with diapers in the cart so he could stay asleep.

4th of July weekend

I can't actually remember if this was this weekend or last, but Luke has these plastic keys that he loves. He has recently been trying to fit them in the door handle at the lake, its super cute!

We left for the lake on Thursday night when I got home from work and got up there at about 9. We pretty much emptied the car into the living room and got the food unpacked and went to bed. In the morning, Luke found a box of wine coolers that Rick had brought up that were left over from Luke's bday party. He managed to get the box open and unload most of the bottles

We went to the beach Friday and hung out for a while. It was really nice out and we went swimming. After Luke had enough playing, we went for a cruise on the jet ski. Of course, he immediatly fell asleep and had a nice nap on the ride. We got back to the house just in time as right after we got into the house, it started pouring rain and then lightening.

After the rain ended we had a little snack outside on the deck. Luke ate some watermelon :)

On Saturday morning Rick and the neighbor played a little Bocce ball and Luke walked around behind his truck on the lawn.

the neighbors were having a cookout in the afternoon, so we decided to go to the beach before the party got underway. As soon as we got on the jet ski, Luke fell asleep and he missed the whole trip to the beach! Here he is sleeping on the beach

Once again, we got home right in time as it started raining and lightening as soon as we docked the jet ski. Luke had a great time at the cookout and got passed around to all the ladies. We went back to our house to feed Luke some dinner and he and Rick had a little playtime in the door while I was inside:

We put Luke to bed at 7 and got him up at 830 to get ready to go out on the boat for the fireworks. He slept for a bit but then woke up just in time for the show! He loved the bright colors and wasnt scared of the bangs. It was pretty cold out on Saturday night, here is Luke when we got home
On Sunday morning we got ready and went to the beach and Luke had a blast playing in the sand. It was really sunny and warm out, finally a nice day with no rain!

He (again) fell asleep on the ride home on the jet ski ... It was way too busy out on the lake and it was too choppy to go for a ride so we headed right back. When he woke up, he was really happy!

Rick was feeling a little sick so we didnt do much that night. We got fried seafood and ate it at the camp.

Monday we got up and Rick was feeling better after going to bed at 8 the night before. We hopped on the jet ski and headed to the beach

The lake was really quiet on Monday and we took a long ride around the lake (while Luke slept).
