Recent events
Last weekend:
Friday night we went out to eat with Memere, Grandpa, Ken, Michelle and the kids. We all went out for fried seafood and then we went to the park to play for a bit. It started to rain so we had to cut the playtime at the park but Luke had fun going down the slides.
On Saturday, it was pouring rain and really crappy out, so Luke and I headed to the mall bright and early to do an errand and then went to visit his newest friend George! George is 3 weeks old and Melissa and Pat's son. I got to hold George for a bit and Luke happily played with some toys that they had at their house. He was also pretty obsessed with getting to these 2 tall glass vases that I could tell he just wanted to knock over :) He didn't succeed though!
After we left there, we went over to see Sebastien!
They were pretty serious about 1 toy
Luke also likes their dog, and got some kisses from her! :)
The boys had fun playing together and then we headed home to eat lunch and nap etc. On Saturday night Memere and Grandpa came over for dinner and we had a nice visit with them on their last night here in NH!

Luke was a good boy (as usual at church) aside from a few paci throws a few pews away. Afterwards we went downstairs for coffee and doughnuts and Luke had his first munchkin! He loved it! Then one of Papa's friends shared a chocolate cruller with Luke also. :) Memere and Grandpa were leaving to head back to Florida so we said goodbye to them. Afterwards we went to Home Depot and got the supplies to paint the babies room. Luke took a really long afternoon nap and we were able to refinish the front and back decks (which look great now!) ... After Luke went to bed, We painted the whole nursery, except a tiny portion that Rick skipped behind the door - oops! There are spots that need 2 coats anyways so this will force us to do it! :)

Visit from Memere and Grandpa and WALKING!
On Sunday evening Memere and Grandpa arrived from their trip to Buffalo. We had a nice dinner and Luke enjoyed showing off ALL his toys and how they work. He did spend a few minutes, maybe seconds, allowing them to cuddle him :)
We had a normal week with work and school etc and on Friday morning we left for the lake. I had taken the day off. When we got there we did some swimming and took the jet skiis out for a tour of the lake. Luke was excited to be on his jet ski again

I guess I didn't take any pics on the camera of Luke walking around the house on Saturday :( After breakfast he was playing and then just walked across the room! He has been very proud of himself every time he has done it since then :)
On Sunday, Uncle John M came up for a visit! Here is Luke walking on the lawn to John
After a busy day of swimming, boating and visiting, Luke enjoyed some quiet time with his grandparents.
On Monday we got up and hit the lake ... here is Luke and Dad on the jet ski waving to Memere and Grandpa
